HORSE HOOF CARE AND TRIMMING

Why pay a farrier to trim your horse's hooves when you can do it yourself? This class will focus on the anatomy and pathology of your horse's hooves and discuss the tools and supplies needed to care for them. Learn to care for cracks, injuries, abscesses, and crooked legs in two days of classroom instruction and two days of actual field work. Take advantage of the opportunity to bring your own horse and have the instructor help you trim its hooves. Tools will be provided.
